Due to the cancellation of the 2022 AGM in February there will be an Open Meeting of Plot Holders on Sunday 15th May

Jo Harper - Plot 22a will be opening the Site Shop on Sat 7th May 09.30am - 10.30am.

All prices are considerably cheaper than any high street supplier.

If you're unable to make the opening times please see Jo on her plot throughout Saturday.

Join Dr. Jeremy Burchardt ( a big supporter of our allotments ) and Guest Speakers to discuss the history of allotments and explore their role during war and pandemics

Our friends at St. Peter's Church need our support with donations of fresh cut flowers so the congregation can decorate the venue this Sunday for the christening of a new Wellesbourne baby.

Please leave your generous donations of flowers & foliage at the notice board before 6.30pm on Friday 17th September.

Wellesbourne Community Day - Mountford Sports Fields

Bringing together the annual Village Fayre, Car Show and Horticultural Show , combined with lots of additional attractions will make for a splendid and memorable day.

Please support our Allotments Stand at the event by volunteering on the stand and donating plot produce.

As usual plot holders will be encouraged to enter their produce and exhibits to the Horticultural Show.

Bonfire Night

Saturday 2 November we plan to hold our annual bonfire and informal, social gathering from 6pm by the green shed. Please bring your own refreshments and, although we do not allow fireworks, sparklers are welcome ( under close supervision) for the children.

If you have any dry wood for burning please bring to the green shed before Friday 1 November.

Time To Shine Plot Holders- enter your creations in the Wellesbourne & Walton Autumn Horticultural Show- Sat Sept 7th

THE Official Opening of OSCARS Garden on August 25th at 2 - 3 pm will coincide with the broadcast of the Countryfile episode filmed at the Allotments earlier this month.

Creating OSCARS has been a fantastic community effort, involving more than 20 organisations and individuals who have donated more than 250 volunteer hours as well as the funds required to build and paint the area ready for OSCARS to start the planting and ready the site for use - see a video of the some the stages of the evolution of OSCARS here

Mickleton Gardening Club Events. 7.30pm on 21 August 2019,- Dr Timothy Walker from Oxford, to give an entertaining talk on 'Plant Classification for Gardeners'. From 2pm on 17th August - Flower Produce & Handicraft Show.

BBC Countryfile Presenter Matt Baker and the team braved a windy day in Wellesbourne last Friday 9th August, recording an episode about our local hero and MP Joseph Arch which is expected to be broadcast over the August Bank Holiday

Wellesbourne Photographic Group will be visiting the Allotments from 7.30pm to 9.30pm to take photographs of the site and plot holders. Rob Lavers, a member of the Wellesbourne Photo Group, is our Photographer in Residence and has taken some absolutely stunning photographs of our site and our events in the past.

Our stand at the Street Fayre is hugely popular with villagers after high quality plants and produce as well as for our Tombola

Please give generously and leave your plants,produce and Tombola Prizes by the Site Notice Board before 12.30pm on Sat 15th June
