Plot Inspections can be carried out by the Lettings Officer or a nominated Committee Member

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE CONCERNS ABOUT YOUR PLOT ?

• PLOT HOLDERS ARE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THEIR PLOTS IN A PROPER STATE OF CULTIVATION & REASONABLY FREE FROM WEEDS, ESPECIALLY SEEDING WEEDS.

• MAINTENANCE CONCERNS WILL FOLLOW A CLEARLY DEFINED PROCESS AS SET OUT IN THE CURRENT RENT BOOK - SEE THE LATEST VERSION HERE.

• PLOT HOLDER MUST ENSURE THEY HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE VERSION TO THEIR PRINTED COPY

Members who fail to meet satisfactory levels of maintenance will receive a formal Improvement Notice Letter and will be given 28 days to rectify any issues raised prior to re-inspection.

Members who receive more than 2 Improvement letters in 2 consecutive years will be given written notice to quit and 7 days to vacate the plot.
