2019 Dawn Chorus Event - 18th May 2019 - Led by Steve England - Chedham’s Yard - 05.45 - 07.45
Not just about birds - Be prepared to be richly rewarded for the small effort of getting up early once a year

Walking his dogs along this 2 miles riverbank route for most of his life, Steve oozes an infectious knowledge and passion for this wildlife haven on the village doorstep. 

Not only identifying the birds singing, feeding and nesting there, other secrets of its wildlife residents are also revealed in the context of the wider ecology and the history of this small abut widely active area close to the village.

05.45 - Gather at Chedham’s Yard - please arrive quietly - neighbours sleeping !

05.45 - 07.45 -  2 mile easy walk following The Dene riverbank downstream and returning on north side

Approx 1.5 - 2hrs depending on weather and what wildlife is about

Returning to Chedham’s Yard where refreshments will be available

Event is free but donations to Chedham’s Yard appreciated

Binoculars are at all not necessary but may assist identification

Well behaved dogs are welcome
