Anthony Boyd is an octogenarian hobbyist-inventor who has designed novel frames to use in growing climbing beans horizontally to improve yield
For a few years now, he has been running trials with runners in pots for balconies.
Last year he modified his frames for use in open ground & raised beds and which went on trial with a small number of growers in allotments.
Anthony is now expanding the trails and would like to recruit growers who feel this could be an interesting exercise they would be willing to partake in. Anthony will donate frames and seeds – to be delivered free of charge early April. Ideally these would go out in pairs – one frame growing one plant, the other frame two plants.
